
Legal Counsel to Husqvarna Group
Husqvarna Group is now looking for a Legal Counsel to support the Husqvarna Construction Division. The role has a focus on commercial agreements but will also include providing advice and supporting the business in a broad range of legal matters. Role Description
As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting Husqvarna Construction´s business operations by providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as supply, service, sales and partnerships contracts, and provide legal advice on day to day matters such as contract interpretation, claims and disputes.
You will work closely with the Divisional General Counsel to manage legal risk, develop new ways of working, maintain and improve templates and processes, and implement best practices. You will also assist in M&A transactions and dispute resolution, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations coordinating external counsel as needed.
In addition to divisional matters, you will support on group wide matters such as financing, leasing, and strategic partnerships. You will also help develop and roll out internal legal policies and deliver training in key compliance topics.
The position is based in Stockholm.
Who you are
In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following background and skills:
- A Swedish law degree and approximately 2-3 years of experience in an international environment, ideally a law firm and/or a multi-national company;
- Experience in delivering fast, clear and business-minded legal support;
- Service minded and attentive to client needs;
- A team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with all functions, build partnerships and have a flexible and pragmatic mindset;
- Fluent in Swedish and English
